The Community Crisis Center detoxification unit is a 12-bed emergency medical detoxification unit for individuals who may be at risk of withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs. The unit is staffed with nurses and support staff around the clock and provides medication interventions to stabilize individuals during one to five day stays. The program physician is on-site daily.
Assessment & Admissions Services
Individuals are assessed to determine the most appropriate placement for treatment. The individual is an active participant in the decision regarding the type of care. If the program that is the best fit for the individual is full, START NOW provides outpatient groups for support as the individual waits to enter the more structured setting.
